隔了一年沒到新化的點去看蚜灰蝶了

趁著回嘉義再往南下去

可惜此趟只找到幼生期中的蚜灰蝶（棋石小灰蝶） Taraka hamada thalaba Fruhstorfer

無緣見到成蝶只好附上在北橫拍到的個體





比較特別的相對於其他蝴蝶

他是葷食主義者

顧名思義蚜灰蝶他所吃的食物就是竹葉扁蚜

卵也相當奇特

一般小灰蝶卵比較像高爾夫球般

而他的卵卻像一顆小藥錠



比較小時他會躲在絲裡



要吃東西時才跑出來

年紀小時還不敢欺負太大隻的蚜蟲

只能專挑些比較體型小的



等到大一點就大喇喇的出來一隻接著一隻吃



很可惜的此行少了成蝶與蛹還有最想拍到的交尾

但這也是留待下次再出發的動力了˙˙
